The California Robotic Idol Competition

Kids Talk Radio and the Long Beach Public Library will sponsor the California Robotic Idol Competition on October 26, 2013.  Super School University will help to coordinate the educational research and project based learning collaboration with 50 California school districts.  Selected teachers and students will have an opportunity to work with the NAO humanoid robots for two weeks in a special hand-on summer camp that will be held at the main branch of the Long Beach Public Library.   Teachers and students will have a NAO humanoid robot and special software that will allow them to teach their robots how to dance.  Selected Super School University teachers will have Backpack Robotic software designed for iPhones, iPads, Mac’s and PC’s.  This will allow for podcasting, ePortfolios and STEAM Plus educational project-based learning.  For more information contact project director Bob Barboza.
